This piece is a hand printed fine art linocut print.

I am inspired by the my Colombian heritage and Caribbean Folk around Friendship, Music and Carnaval

This detailed relief print comes from and original hand drawing which is transferred to a linoleum block ready to be carefully carved, then the block is inked and laid on a press, paper is placed top and after applying pressure the print gets made.

Playful, bold, and full of rhythm, this hand-pulled lino print celebrates friendship through two characters from the Barranquilla Carnival, seated together on a sea of aguardiente. Laughter, tradition, and shared stories flow through the scene, capturing the spirit of celebration that defines the festival. From the first hand-drawn lines to the careful carving and final print, every step is made by hand—resulting in a vibrant, tactile piece that honors joy, connection, and Colombian culture.
